3D Cardboard Design Engineer
Due to expansion an opportunity has arisen at DS Smith Multigraphics Bradford for a first class 3D Cardboard Design Engineer.
Your primary role will be to design freestanding display units and standees for the Point of Sale and Point of Purchase markets.
You will be comfortable agreeing the design brief with sales staff and using tools such as
- Kasemake / Artios
- 3D Strata / 3D Studio Max
- Illustrator
- Indesign
- Photoshop and
- Quark Express
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will have three years experience in a similar field.

We require an additional Client Services Executive to work alongside our existing Client Services team.
Reporting to the Finance Director, Client Services Executives work very closely with our customers, providing exemplary service at every level. The ultimate goal of the team is to ensure all customers are nothing less than delighted with the service they receive from DS Smith Multigraphics.
Duties:
The processing and handling of orders through our busy factory, to despatch, which encompasses the following activities:
- Taking instructions from clients and accurately interpreting their requirements, at all times ensuring their expectations are properly and fully managed
- Processing of workflow, utilising Logic management information systems
- Preparing accurate quotation of jobs to clients and liaising with clients to agree upon a price for the job
- Liaising with the accounts department regarding clients' credit position
- Understanding the production process
- Preparation of full and accurate job sheets, to ensure that all parts of the production cycle, from pre-press through to delivery, are properly specified
- Where necessary, liaising with all production departments to ensure jobs are processed to client specification and in line with agreed timescales

Requirements:
- Some customer service experience is preferred
- Previous exposure to the print industry would be advantageous
- Good PC skills

Digital Printer
Due to expansion, an opportunity has arisen at our Bradford site, reporting directly to the Digital Manager.
This is a temporary to permanent position, working flexible shifts mid week with occasional weekends.
The Role:
Your primary role will be operating the various printing presses.
In order to succeed in this role you will be required to work unsupervised and be able to manage your work time successfully.
Previous experience in this field would be an advantage but not a necessity as full training can be given.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following key skills:
• Quick understanding of our H&S procedures
• Quick understanding of our printing presses and general maintenance
• Problem solving ability
• Good analytical skills
